Sean Logan, Reston teen, dies after being struck by a car

(WJLA) - A Reston teenager who was involved in a crash on May 8 has died, according to police.

Sean Logan, 17, was traveling northbound on a "Pit Bike," or a mini-bike, on Reston Parkway when he made a left turn onto westbound Wiehle Avenue, crossing into the path of a 2004 Acura MDX and a 2008 Lexcus GX470 that were traveling south on Reston Parkway. Both vehicles, police said, had the right-of-way.

The pit bike was struck by the Acura, and the Acura then hit the Lexus. Logan{}was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died from those injuries on Monday.

Police said they do not anticipate filing charges. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
