Salvation Army offering free meals in Prince Frederick

The Salvation Army is providing hot meals Monday to residents affected by Hurricane Irene.

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. today, 1,000 people can eat for free at Calvert High School, located at 520 Fox Run Boulevard in Prince Frederick.{ }

Cleanups effects are underway across the Washington region following Hurricane Irene, which caused major damage and power outages for hundreds of thousands living in the area.
