Rockville jewelry store robbed of $20,000 in diamond rings

(WJLA) - Montgomery County detectives are looking for a man and woman who they stay stole $20,000 worth of diamond rings from a Bethesda jeweler.

The theft happened Dec. 16 at the Masica Diamonds store on Rockville Pike, officials say. Authorities believe that the female suspect distracted a store employee while her male companion stole two diamond rings from a display case.

Authorities say that the rings have a combined value of more than $20,000.
