A major hip-hop concert that was slated for RFK Stadium this weekend has been called off, according to the Washington City Paper.

Rock the Bells, a show featuring high-profile acts including Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar and Washington-native Wale, has been canceled, two sources tell the City Paper.

The report is backed up by the event's listing on Ticketmaster, which indicates that the show has been canceled.

Rock the Bells started as a lone concert and festival in Southern California in 2004. Over the past decade, it has gradually expanded into a multi-city tour. During this year's tour, concerts have been held in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

D.C.'s show was supposed to go on this Saturday and Sunday. The final Rock the Bells is scheduled for Oct. 4 and 5 at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J.
