      Riverdale kidnapping suspect sought

      Prince George's County Police are looking for one of two suspects accused of kidnapping a man in Riverdale.

      Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, police say a man, on his way{}home from work, was in his driveway in the 5200 block of 59th Avenue,{}when two armed men approached him and demanded money.

      As the suspects forced the man into an SUV, the victim's wife was watching from a window and called police.

      The suspects drove to an ATM on Kenilworth Avenue and made{}the victim{}withdraw cash.

      When police responded to the scene, a short chase ensued. Authorities say the suspect crashed into a parked car then fled on foot while shooting at police.

      A K-9 unit help locate one of the suspect early Wednesday morning, but the other remains on the loose.

      Police say the victim is safe and no injuries were reported.

      Officers recovered a gun used by the suspects.

      Authorities say robbery was the motive.

      An investigation is ongoing.
