The owners of a Capitol Heights nightclub that was the site of a fatal double shooting last summer are pleading guilty today to operating their facility illegally.

Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Angela D. Alsobrooks will announce the guilty pleas at 3 p.m.

Authorities say that several pleas have been accepted by defendants accused of violating CB 18 – a law that restricts illegal dance hall operations in Prince George’s County. Two defendants pleaded guilty in the last two weeks, while two are scheduled to plead guilty tomorrow.

Four operators/owners of MSG – a Capitol Heights nightclub located at 7929 Central Avenue that was shuttered late last year -- will plead guilty to operating a dance hall without a license.

Alsobrooks will be joined by Prince George’s County Councilwoman Karen Toles, who sponsored the legislation, and Police District III Commander Major George Nader.
