(WJLA) - On the first day of school in Prince George's County this past August, students in Algebra II and Geometry classes districtwide received brand new textbooks. They've been using them ever since.
On Oct. 24, the Gazette reports, those textbooks were approved for use.
The Gazette says that the district bought the new books and delivered them to school campuses before the board gave them final approval. A delay in bringing them to the board, though, put the approval vote off until late October.
