President Barack Obama calls Sandra Fluke

      President Barack Obama has called the Georgetown University law student at the center of the Rush Limbaugh controversy to offer his support.

      The Associated Press is reporting that Obama called Sandra Fluke, who was blocked from from testifying at a Congressional hearing on religious freedom and contraception several weeks ago. Limbaugh called her a "slut" and a "prostitute."

      The White House stated that Obama is decrying Limbaugh's personal attacks against her.

      Fluke testified that Georgetown students pay thousands of dollars per year on contraception because campus health plans don't cover them for women.

      After she tesitifed, Limbaugh implied that Fluke wanted the government to pay her to have sex.

      "What does that make her? It makes her a makes her a prostitute," he said.
