Postal workers mark 10th anniversary of Anthrax attacks
Two ceremonies will be held today to mark the 10th anniversary of the deadly Anthrax attacks.
Ten years ago, D.C.’s Brentwood postal facility was contaminated with Anthrax, killing two postal workers. The facility, which underwent a major decontamination, was renamed in their honor.
The ceremonies will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 9:30 a.m. and at 4 p.m.
The services will be hosted by former and current postal workers.
