Politics & Prose, a well-known bookstore on Connecticut Avenue, is trying to solve an unusual problem: telling their customers what neighborhood they're located in.
According to the Washington City Paper, the bookstore's owners are pushing to name their stretch of Connecticut Avenue NW.
The store sits just south of Nebraska Avenue -- too far south to be in Chevy Chase and too far north to be considered Van Ness.
Instead of stressing about which neighborhood the store belongs to, owners Bradley Graham and Lissa Muscatine are coming up with their own and asking for suggestions on the store's website.
A few interesting suggestions include SoChe, short for South Chevy Chase and pronounced "so-chee," NeConn, short for Nebraska and Connecticut, and Literary Alley.
