Sources: Woman stabbed in Prince George's County on New Year's Day dies
BRENTWOOD, Md. (ABC7) —
Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed in Brentwood the morning of New Year's Day, Prince George's County Police report.
Sources tell ABC7's Brad Bell that the stabbing was a domestic incident and the woman has died.
According to police, the call came in around 8:10 a.m. for a stabbing at 4511 38th Place.
A motive in the stabbing was not immediately released.
Brentwood Mayor Rocio Lopez told ABC7's Sam Ford that the man who stabbed the woman has been arrested.
Lopez says there's a domestic violence "crisis" occurring in the area.
