Police: Man arrested for DUI crash that killed 1, injured others in Virginia

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man for a DUI crash that killed one woman and injured others early Tuesday morning in Sterling, Virginia.

According to police, Andre Glenn crashed his Jeep Wrangler into a traffic divider, and then flipped it while traveling north on Route 28 near Frying Pan Road.

Glenn was charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license.

Police say two women were both thrown from the jeep. One of the women, Gabby Perry, 22, from Leesburg, Virginia died at the scene of the accident. The other woman had serious but non-life-threatening injuries was taken to an area hospital.

Glenn, and a male passenger, remained inside the vehicle. According to police, Glenn and the other man were not seriously injured.

Police say the crash is under investigation.
