(WJLA) - Metro Transit Police are investigating a stabbing at the Stadium-Armory station late Friday night.
WTOP reports a 19-year-old man was stabbed several times around 11:30 p.m. The man was conscious and breathing when he was transported to the hospital.
Officials say the stabbing happened as a result of a fight on an inbound Blue Line train that spilled out onto the train platform.
A juvenile was also stabbed in the hand, according to WTOP.
The station was closed for the rest of the night following the stabbing.
