Police: Car stolen in PG County found in creek in D.C.

A car was stolen in Prince George's County and then found in a creek in D.C. Sunday morning, according to police.

D.C. Police say the car was dumped in a creek near South Capitol Street and First Street SE early Sunday morning. The car was spotted by someone who then called police.

Officers say they do not know who left the car in the creek. Both D.C. and Prince George's County Police were on the scene.

The car was taken back to Prince George's County.
