Police: Bicyclist in critical condition after hit-and-run crash in Southeast D.C.
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
D.C. Police and emergency personnel were at the scene of a hit-and-run crash in Southeast Friday evening that left a man in critical condition.
The crash happened between a bicyclist and a vehicle in the area of the 2600 block 29th Street and Erie Street SE. Police say the man was riding his bike on 29th Street when he reportedly turned left onto Erie Street without stopping at the stop sign. That is when police say a vehicle described as a white or silver four-door sedan hit the bike and then drove off.
Police say the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The sedan had paper tags on it that started with "MV" police say.
