Police: 3 arrested for burglary in vacant house in Md., 1 with CDS paraphernalia

Police arrested two men and a woman for burglary at a vacant house in Frederick on Saturday. The woman was also charged with possession of paraphernalia for a controlled dangerous substance.

Frederick Police responded to a report of a possible burglary in the 100 block of Deerfield Place on Saturday at about 7:42 p.m.

Police say three people were inside the single-family house that was vacant. Officers secured the possible exits of the house and contacted the owner who said no one was supposed to be inside the house.

When officers went into the house and took the suspects into custody, they also found a syringe in the woman’s purse.

Ariel May Channell, 20, of Frederick, was charged with fourth-degree burglary and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

John Peter Jeffrey, 29, of Brunswick, and Christopher Thomas Wiessend, 24, of Frederick, were both charged with fourth-degree burglary.
