Police: 2 people sleeping in stolen car arrested after refusing to move from assigned spot
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (ABC7) —
Two people were arrested Friday morning after they were found sleeping in a stolen car that was parked in an assigned spot in Fairfax County, police said.
In a tweet, that Fairfax County Police titled "Stranger Calls," the department says a woman called them after the pair refused to move out of her parking spot. When police arrived on the scene, the pair were still in the car and had fallen back asleep.
"They woke up but refused to move. When we arrived, we found them, again asleep in the car, which turned out to be stolen," police stated in part in the tweet, followed by the hashtag #sleepycriminals.
