Plane overturns at Manassas Regional Airport

A small plane veered off a runway, overturned and began leaking fuel after landing Thursday at Manassas Regional Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration stated.

The FAA is now investigating the incident.

Virginia State Police identified the pilot as 35-year-old Fairfax resident{ }Sahel Abdulrahim Bader.

Authorities say he was practicing landing and taking off when he veered off the runway.

Manassas Volunteer Fire Department officials say that all of the plane's occupants were able to get out. There's no word of any injuries.
