Plan to reduce I-270 traffic congestion in Md. announced

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced Wednesday that in the fall of 2017 construction will begin on a $100 million project created to break traffic congestion on I-270.

The project will include 23 new lane miles, metered ramps, cameras and sensors on the road to make traffic flow effective.
