The 17 members of the Prince George's County warrant squad work in the dark of night. They travel in teams of five to 10 officers and hunt down suspects wanted for everything from failing to show up in traffic court to assault on a police officer. They even went after a 14-year-old wanted on robbery charges.
On one recent night, the squad teamed up with officers from the Greenbelt and Glen Arden police departments as well as Homeland Security and Immigration agents. They divided up nearly 100 warrants for fugitives.
