Pepper spray sickens Booker T. Washington school students during fight

(WJLA) - A student at a Northwest Washington charter was taken to the hospital Monday after pepper spray was dispersed during a fight, authorities say.

The fight broke out just after noon at Booker T. Washington Charter School at 13th Street and Florida Avenue Northwest, MPD officials say. During the fight, one student pulled out pepper spray and sprayed.

Five students were treated for injuries related to their exposure, while one was taken from the scene for further treatment.
