2 pedestrians struck at same location in less than an hour in Md., fire officials say

Police and firefighters are on the scene after a pedestrian was struck in Montgomery County, Md. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 (Pete Piringer/Montgomery County Fire and Rescue/Twitter) 

Two pedestrians were struck at the same location in under an hour early Thursday morning in Montgomery County, Maryland.

One pedestrian was struck at approximately 7:54 a.m., and fire officials say at 8:42 a.m. after the scene was cleared for that incident, another pedestrian was hit.

Fire officials do not have information on the conditions of the pedestrians at this time.

Both accidents were reported on Richard Montgomery Drive and Rockville Pike.
