Patricia Cave acquitted of murder of boyfriend Lamont Warren
When 50 year-old Patricia Cave returned home Tuesday, she declined to talk with ABC7, but a D.C. jury last week acquitted her of murder in the death of her boyfriend, 36 year old Lamont Warren.
A Metropolitan Police Department video tape just after she stabbed her boyfriend, shows Cave admitting to the murder, but says Warren was in her bed choking her.
“I don’t have anything to say, I’m free,” Cave said to ABC7 on Tuesday.
Cave said that after she stabbed Warren, he cursed her and he left the apartment with the knife. Ten minutes later, she saw him—lying on the ground outside.
Police proceeded to photograph the bruises she says Warren put on her, and then later, they came back with news that Warren was dead.
Cave then became a murder suspect charged with first degree murder.
