(WJLA) - One of the world's most popular musical groups will descend on Washington this summer.
One Direction will perform at Nationals Park on Aug. 11, the group announced Tuesday, as part of the North American leg of their "Where We Are 2014" tour.
Tickets will go on sale on Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. The show will go on rain or shine.

The One Direction concert will be the fifth to ever be held at the home of the Washington Nationals. They'll join such acts as Elton John, Billy Joel, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney as acts that have played at the Southeast D.C. ballpark.
