Officials: Pig on the loose from vehicle traveling over Md. bridge causes traffic delays

A pig on the loose caused traffic delays on the Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge Friday morning, authorities reported.

According to the Maryland Department of Transportation, they worked with animal control to get the "pig under control."

Officials say the pig got loose from a vehicle that was traveling over the bridge, but it's unclear at this time how it was freed.

Traffic is currently being diverted around the disabled vehicle following the incident.
