Concerns are growing among some D.C. residents after a parts of a building collapsed in Northwest Washington.
D.C. Fire says the home, located in the 1000 block of Monroe Street, was damaged during the earthquake last August.
After Tuesday's rains, a neighbor noticed the fire escape and porch begin to collapse and reported it to police.
No one was inside the home at the time.
Police shut down 11th Street, with no word on how long the stretch of road would be closed.
