No relief on snowy roads in Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WJLA) - Snow came down hard Wednesday morning. And it didn't take long to cover up everything, even main roads like Route 1 in College Park. It wasn't exactly white out conditions, but visibility was poor at times.

With all this winter's storms, Maryland is well over budget and quickly running out of money to remove the snow. The Maryland State Highway Administration started the winter with a snow removal budget of $46 million. It has already blown through that, spending nearly double that at this point.
