The first of four new speed cameras in Montgomery County will be switched on by the end of the week, WTOP's Ari Ashe reports.
The newest camera will start catching red-light runners at the intersection of Randolph and Kemp Mill roads in Colesville, where in 2012, a woman was killed when she was hit by a car that was racing another vehicle.
WTOP says that the three other cameras, which will begin snapping photos on Monday, will be located at the intersections of:
- Gaither Road and Redland Boulevard
- North Washington Street and Middle Lane
- Park Road and North Stonestreet Avenue
