WASHINGTON (AP) - Officials at a Washington hospital say a woman who was hospitalized with gunshot wounds as a result of last week's shooting at the Washington Navy Yard has gone home.
MedStar Washington Hospital Center says that a female civilian who suffered gunshot wounds to her shoulder was released late Monday. She has not been identified publically.
MedStar now has just one remaining patient from the shooting: a D.C. police officer who was shot in the legs. Officer Scott Williams, who has been with Metropolitan Police Department for more than 20 years, remains in the hospital. Officials describe his condition as good.
Another woman who was treated at MedStar for injuries to the head and hand was released last week.
