Several roads throughout downtown Washington, the National Mall, Foggy Bottom and the Pentagon will be closed for several hours Sunday morning to make way for the annual Nation's Triathlon.
Road closures will begin at 5 a.m. Sunday, an hour before the grueling swimming, bicycle and running race is set to begin.
Major roads, including portions of Interstate 395, Independence Avenue, the Whitehurst Freeway, Rock Creek Parkway and Ohio Drive will be closed at least through the early afternoon.
