Motorcylist fatally crashes after high-speed police chase
PRINCE WILLIAM CO., Va. (ABC7) —
Virginia State Police say a motorcycle crashed after going 130 miles per hour at around 2:40 a.m.
Police observed the motorcycle going 80 mph in a 55 mph zone of I-395 south and attempted to pull the motorcycle over.
The motorcyclist, Clint Gaskins, 36, of Woodbridge sped away, and the officer followed.
Police say the officer followed Gaskins onto I-95 South and exited with him at Rt. 123.
Gaskins lost control of the motorcycle, ran off the road, and struck a retaining wall.
Police say Gaskins died at the scene.
