FREDERICK, Md. (WJLA) - There was more snow to shovel and clear from the roads in Frederick Tuesday morning. And the additional winter weather is causing some budget issues for the county.
Because of all the recent snow storms this winter, Frederick County has used up $2.6 million dollars of its winter weather budget, and now they're looking to reserve funds if and when there's more bad weather.
The county says it will find the money somewhere in its budget because keeping the roads safe during snow and ice events is a top priority.
