Montgomery County bill would lower speed limits, reduce lane width
(WJLA) - A proposal has been introduced in Montgomery County that would lower the speed limit and narrow driving lanes in several areas.
As reported by Bethesda Now, the bill, as introduced by County Councilmen Roger Berliner and Hans Reimer, would set speed limits in urban areas to 25 miles per hour. It would also reduce the lane width in those spots to 10 feet.
Bethesda Now says the proposal will be brought to the public on Jan. 23.
