A student who police say sprayed pepper spray at a Montgomery County middle school last Friday has been arrested and charged with disturbing school operations, the Gazette reports.
Montgomery County Schools officials say that more charges against the unidentified Roberto Clemente Middle School student may come later.
Five students were hospitalized and evaluated after being exposed to the spray on campus shortly before noon on May 7. About two dozen more were treated at the scene.
The school's principal also told the Gazette that several other students who knew what happened but didn't tell administrators were disciplined as well.
