The National Zoo says Mei Xiang is getting more sensitive to noises, so they're closing part of the Panda House to keep her happy.
All eyes are on the giant panda because scientists say her hormones are rising, which indicates she may be pregnant or experiencing a false pregnancy. Mei Xiang was artificially inseminated twice back in March.
Visitors will still be able to see Mei when she's outdoors. We won't know if she's officially pregnant for a few more weeks.
Recently, Mei Xiang began building a nest.
