OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJLA) - A 13-foot, 1,000 pound tiger shark made its way into Isle of Wright bay near one of Maryland's most popular beach destinations over the weekend.
The female tiger shark, named Septima by the researchers who originally tagged her off the coast of South Carolina, showed up in the bay behind the Ocean City barrier island.
Septima didn't remain in bay for long. Her tracker (which can be followed online) pinged Monday morning off the coast of Atlantic City, N.J.
