(WJLA) - Pepco customers who are concerned about a proposed rate hike can voice their opinions at one of two public hearings scheduled for this week.
The first public hearing is Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. at the Montgomery County Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe St. in Rockville, according to WTOP. The second hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Center Council Chambers, at 4500 Knox Rd. in College Park
Both hearings will be in front of the Maryland Public Service Commission.
Back in December, the utility company requested a $43.3 million in rate increases that would equal about a $4.80 increase a month for the typical home.
