Maryland Live! casino's revenues have been higher this year than last, but have decreased over the past month, The Capital Gazette reports.

Last month, the casino at Arundel Mills brought in just over $51 million from slot machines and table games combined - a $4 million decrease from May. In June 2012, its first month of operation, Maryland Live! brought in over $28 million from slots alone.

In June, slots generated $35.7 million, down $2 million from May. Table games, which were first offered in April, brought in $15.6 million.

A local government program that helps fund small, minority and women-owned businesses will receive over $720,000 of the casino's June revenue.
