(AP,WJLA) - Fire officials are investigating the cause of a three-alarm fire at a storage facility in Manassas.

County fire and rescue Battalion Chief Curtis Brodie says firefighters were called to the blaze at{ }the Stor-All Storage facility on Sudley Road about 11 p.m. Sunday.

The fire caused extensive damage to the building and clean-up efforts are expected to last through Monday morning.

A preliminary report indicates that 80 units were heavily damaged or destroyed.

No injuries were reported.

Sudley Road was temporarily shut down while firefighters battled the fire.

An investigation is currently underway by fire investigators with the Prince William County Fire Marshal's Office to determine the origin and cause of the fire.

The units didn’t have sprinklers or fire separation walls which firefighters say allowed the fire to quickly spread.

Katina Woods rushed over to the Stor-All storage to check on her belongings. She heard about the fire on the news and quickly thought about her family valuables.

She also thought about her niece, who has her whole apartment stored in one of the buildings.

"I called her immediately. She still don't know,” Woods says.
