Man robs Bowie bank dressed as a woman

BOWIE, Md. (WJLA) - Prince George's County police are searching for a man who robbed a Bowie bank on Friday, dressed as a woman.

On Friday, police said the suspect walked into a bank in the 4300 block of Collington Road around noon. He approached a teller and demanded cash after implying he had a weapon. The teller complied.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Detectives said Monday they believe the suspect is an African American man, dressed as a woman. They released two surveillance photos.
