Man pleads guilty to bank robbery

Suitland man pleaded guilty Tuesday to holding up a PNC Bank in NW D.C. in 2010.

Kevin Dupree, 42, pleaded guilty in D.C. federal court to one count of robbing a bank. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Authorities said Dupree approached a teller at the PNC Bank in the 1400 block of P Street, handed the teller a note and then raised his shirt to show the teller a gun. The teller gave Dupree $5,000.

Authorities arrested him the next day. During a search of his residence, police recovered a toy gun that was used in the robbery.
