A man wanted for more than six months in connection with the killing of a Prince George’s County 14-year-old was arrested this week.
Authorities arrested Luis Carlos Guzman-Ventura on Monday on a first degree arrest warrant. He is wanted for allegedly taking part in the killing of Eliezer Reyes, who was shot on Dec. 5 near 23rd Avenue and Sheridan Street in Lewisdale.
Police announced in December that they were searching for Guzman-Ventura. He was found Petersburg, Virginia.
At the time of the killing, police sources said the shooting may have been connected to gang conflicts.
Reyes was one of several teens killed in Prince George’s County at the end of 2012 and in early 2013.
