A judge on Tuesday determined that there was probably cause in the case of the killing of an Alexandria community activist--the accused will continue to be held without bond.{ }

Tuesday was the preliminary hearing for Linwood Johnson, who was charged with killing 53-year-old Lenny Harris last year.

Leslie Graves of the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office said Johnson must be indicted by March 29th.

Police say Harris was shot to death and his body was dumped in a well in Fort Washington.

Johnson reportedly confessed to the crime.

Police say he and Harris knew each other, but haven’t said how.
