The Washington Post is reporting that the 19-year-old Liberty University student shot dead early Tuesday morning has been identified Police as Joshua Hathaway of Lubbock, Tex.
A Liberty University student was shot and killed by a University police officer early Monday morning following an altercation at an off-campus women's dorm.
"The Liberty University community is deeply saddened by this tragic event and is prayerfully supporting all those impacted," said Jerry Falwell Jr., Liberty's president, in a statement.
Classes returned to normal on Tuesday, the Post reports.
