Dramatic video shows house in Leesburg collapsing during a fire Thursday.

The fire broke out at the home located at 18900 Castleguard Court. Three people were home at the time of the fire, including two girls.

Neighbors reported hearing an explosion.

Black smoke from the fire filled the streets in Lansdowne on the Potomac. The smoke could be seen for miles off Route 7 in Leesburg.

Loudoun county fire officials say a father and two of his children were inside the home when the fire started around noon.

They got out with their dogs and called 911.

"There was a little popping noise and everything went black so outside to the window....just saw a big tunnel of smoke covering the sky,” says Kevin Pyszka.
