It’s hard to imagine: Just last week we were hunkering down for Hurricane Irene. Now, after the clean-up many are packing up for the beach, but gas prices are running about a dollar a gallon more than this time last year.

Still, businesses are hoping that won't keep tourists away.{ }

If you’re planning on hitting the roads this Labor Day weekend, expect to pay, on average, about $3.46 a gallon for gas in Ocean City.

The average price in Virginia Beach is about $3.49 and $3.52 if you’re traveling to the Jersey Shore.

ABC7’s Mike Conneen has more on what you can expect this Labor Day travel weekend.
