A Silver Spring man was sentenced Thursday to seven years in prison in connection with the carjacking of Wilson High School teacher.
Jeremiah Juwley, 26, earlier pleaded guilty to a charge of carjacking. It was part of a larger group of charges stemming from the carjacking. He had earlier pleaded guilty to kidnapping and second degree assault charges in Montgomery County and is currently serving a 10 year sentence.
Juwley and a juvenile are accused of carjacking a Wilson High School teacher on April 17, 2010, in the early morning hours. The victim recognized the juvenile as one of her students.
During the carjacking, Juwley is accused of driving the victim to an ATM and forcing her to withdraw $200. He also is accused of stabbing the victim.
