The lanes of the inner loop of the Capital Beltway have completely reopened after a tractor-trailer crash shut it down early Monday morning.

All lanes are open, but moving slowly, between Georgia and Connecticut Avenue after traffic was completely stopped when a{ }tractor trailer jackknifed at about 3 a.m.

Major delays are still present between Connecticut{ }and Georgia avenues. It is still best to avoid this area of the inner loop, as traffic is backed up.{ }

Cleanup is now underway due to a fuel spill resulting from the accident.
