MCLEAN, Va. (WJLA) -- A man hiking in a group was injured Monday after falling 20 to 30 feet on slippery rocks in the Scott's Run Nature Preserve, authorities said.
Rescuers made it to the victim's location and determined that he had suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The man was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital about 4:45 p.m.
He was the second person in two days to fall on slippery rocks in that area. On Sunday, a man was critically injured after falling 30 feet in nearby Great Falls Park.
