Two young women attacked and robbed an 18-year-old woman who was jogging through a Fairfax County park on Thursday morning. The attackers have not yet been found, police say.

The assault and robbery happened at Huntley Meadows Park at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Fairfax County Police say, near the South Kings Highway/Telegraph Road entrance.

The victim was knocked to the ground, assaulted and robbed by two female suspects, police say.

The suspects stole the woman's cell phone and jacket, police say.

The woman wasn't doing anything wrong, only something joggers do everyday - wearing ear buds as she ran. This might have made her more vulnerable by not being as aware of her surroundings, police say."

Visitors to the park tell ABC7 they always thought it was safe there, but will be more alert now. One mother says she runs in the park with her baby son in a stroller.

The suspects are described by police as:

-A 15 to 25-year-old Hispanic woman standing 5 feet tall, heavy set and wearing all black
-A 15 to-25-year-old Hispanic or black woman standing 5-foot-6, with a medium build and wearing all black

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers or Fairfax County Police investigators.
